SheWorks cannot control how another member independently uses information you voluntarily make available to that member.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO

SheWorks events may be photographed or recorded.

Photographs and video may be used by SheWorks for legitimate business and promotional purposes as described in our Photography, Video & Media Policy and applicable event registration terms.

Attendance at a photographed event does not automatically provide an attendee with ownership of or unrestricted access to photographs or video created at the event.

Access to professional content may depend upon Content Pass membership, individual content purchase, event-specific terms, or another applicable license.

EMAIL AND MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

We may send operational communications relating to your account, purchases, event registrations, membership, or transactions.

If you elect to receive marketing communications, you may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe option included in those communications.

Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing a SheWorks product or service unless expressly stated otherwise where legally permitted.

  • Community or mobile application functionality

These providers may process information as necessary to perform their services.

SPONSORS, PARTNERS AND EVENT VENDORS

The presence of a sponsor, collaborator, photographer, venue, vendor, service provider, or pop-up business at a SheWorks event does not mean SheWorks has transferred your personal information to that business.

We will not sell an attendee list simply because a business sponsors or participates in an event.

Information may be shared when you independently choose to interact with a partner or vendor, expressly authorize the sharing, or when disclosure is otherwise described at the time information is collected.

SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

SheWorks does not sell personal information in the ordinary sense of exchanging member information for money.

If you participate in a SheWorks referral program, we may process information necessary to identify the referring member, referred participant, and applicable reward.

Participants may not use the referral program to send unlawful spam or submit another person's information without an appropriate basis to do so.

However, no website, application, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

DATA RETENTION

We may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate SheWorks, maintain transaction and business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect legitimate business interests.

SheWorks is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 through its website.

By creating an account, joining SheWorks, purchasing a product or membership, registering for an event, or otherwise using SheWorks services, you agree to these Terms and any additional terms applicable to a particular product, membership, event, or service.

ABOUT SHEWORKS

SheWorks Social is a real-life social networking and community platform designed to create opportunities for women to connect, build relationships, discover businesses, share experiences, create content, and participate in social and professional experiences.

SheWorks is not an employment agency, professional association, financial adviser, medical provider, legal adviser, dating service, or guarantee of business or personal outcomes.

You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials.

You are responsible for activity occurring through your account.

Accounts may not be transferred, sold, or shared without permission.

MEMBERSHIP AND ACCESS

Creating a website account is not necessarily the same as becoming an approved SheWorks member.

Certain events, content, groups, benefits, ticketing opportunities, or community features may require completion of the SheWorks membership process.

SheWorks may establish eligibility requirements for particular programs or experiences as permitted by law.

EVENTS

Event capacity is limited and registration does not guarantee availability for every SheWorks event.

Events may have separate eligibility requirements, pricing, registration procedures, waivers, or policies.

SheWorks may change an event's venue, schedule, programming, participating businesses, photographer, activities, or other details when reasonably necessary.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Members and guests are expected to treat others respectfully.

SheWorks may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for conduct including:

  • Harassment

  • Threats

  • Discrimination prohibited by applicable law

  • Repeated unwanted solicitation

  • Fraud

  • Spam

  • Misrepresentation

  • Abusive behavior

  • Invasion of another person's privacy

  • Unauthorized distribution of private member information

  • Unauthorized distribution of SheWorks content

  • Conduct that materially disrupts events or community spaces

  • Conduct reasonably believed to create a safety concern

SheWorks reserves reasonable discretion to protect the experience and safety of the community.

NO GUARANTEE OF CONNECTIONS OR RESULTS

SheWorks creates opportunities for connection.

We do not guarantee:

  • Friendship

  • Clients

  • Leads

  • Sales

  • Employment

  • Collaborations

  • Sponsorships

  • Business growth

  • Social media growth

  • Content performance

  • Event invitations

  • Admission to every event

  • Any particular personal or professional outcome

THIRD-PARTY BUSINESSES

SheWorks events may include independent venues, sponsors, collaborators, instructors, photographers, vendors, medical or wellness providers, beauty providers, food or beverage providers, and other businesses.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these businesses operate independently from SheWorks.

Any decision to purchase or receive their products or services is between you and that provider.

SheWorks does not warrant or guarantee third-party products, advice, procedures, services, credentials, results, or representations.

HEALTH, BEAUTY AND WELLNESS SERVICES

From time to time, independent providers may offer beauty, fitness, wellness, medical, aesthetic, or similar services at or in connection with a SheWorks event.

SheWorks does not provide medical advice and does not determine whether any third-party treatment, procedure, exercise, product, or service is appropriate for you.

You are responsible for evaluating the provider and making your own informed decision before participating.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, SheWorks branding, website copy, original graphics, event materials, membership materials, logos, program names, merchandise designs, and other original SheWorks materials are owned by or licensed to SheWorks.

No purchase, membership, event registration, or website access transfers ownership of SheWorks intellectual property.

You may not reproduce, sell, commercially exploit, imitate, distribute, or create derivative commercial materials from protected SheWorks content without permission.

USER CONTENT

You retain ownership of original content you voluntarily submit to SheWorks.

When you intentionally submit content for public or community display, you grant SheWorks a non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and technically process that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the applicable SheWorks feature.

You represent that you have the right to submit the content you provide.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND CONTENT

Photography and video at SheWorks events are governed by the SheWorks Photography, Video & Media Policy and any event-specific terms.

Being photographed does not give an attendee copyright ownership of the resulting photograph or video.

Being present in a photograph also does not give another attendee unrestricted commercial rights to your likeness.

PURCHASES

Prices, product descriptions, availability, and applicable taxes or fees may change.

Additional terms may apply to memberships, merchandise, photographs, digital products, or event purchases.

CONTRIBUTIONS

Voluntary contributions to support SheWorks are not purchases of ownership, equity, investment interests, charitable tax deductions, or guaranteed benefits.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, voluntary contributions are non-refundable.

NO RESALE

Tickets, memberships, Content Pass access, rewards, digital content, or other benefits may not be commercially resold unless SheWorks expressly authorizes resale.

TERMINATION

SheWorks may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary due to violation of these Terms, nonpayment, fraud, misuse, safety concerns, or substantial disruption of the community.

Termination does not transfer ownership of SheWorks intellectual property or create a right to future events, services, or benefits.

DISCLAIMER

SheWorks services are provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

While we work to create thoughtful and well-organized experiences, SheWorks cannot guarantee uninterrupted website availability, particular event attendance, specific participants, business outcomes, or third-party performance.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SheWorks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from participation in SheWorks activities or use of SheWorks services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your unlawful conduct, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person's rights, or misuse of SheWorks services or content.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms will be brought in an appropriate court serving the Charleston, South Carolina area.

CHANGES

SheWorks may update these Terms as the business, community, products, or legal requirements evolve.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

SHEWORKS EVENT TERMS & PARTICIPATION WAIVER

Effective Date: September 2, 2026

By registering for or attending a SheWorks Social event, you acknowledge and agree to the following.

VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

Participation in SheWorks events is voluntary.

Events may include social activities, food and beverages, fitness or recreational activities, swimming or pool environments, travel between locations, beauty or wellness services, demonstrations, outdoor activities, and other experiences.

You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you.

ASSUMPTION OF ORDINARY RISKS

You understand that participation in social, recreational, fitness, travel, food and beverage, and similar activities may involve ordinary risks, including slips, falls, physical exertion, allergic reactions, weather exposure, transportation risks, interactions with other participants, and risks associated with third-party venues or providers.

To the extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume the ordinary and inherent risks associated with activities in which you choose to participate.

Nothing in this agreement is intended to waive rights or liability that cannot legally be waived.

FITNESS AND WELLNESS ACTIVITIES

You are responsible for determining whether you are physically capable of participating.

Stop participating if you feel unsafe, ill, dizzy, injured, or otherwise unable to continue.

SheWorks is not responsible for determining your medical fitness.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Independent businesses may provide services during SheWorks events.

This may include fitness instruction, food, alcohol, beauty services, aesthetic treatments, wellness services, photography, transportation, or other offerings.

Your decision to receive an independent provider's service is voluntary and may be subject to a separate waiver or agreement directly with that provider.

ALCOHOL

When alcohol is available, attendees are responsible for their own consumption and behavior.

Do not drink and drive.

SheWorks does not assume responsibility for an attendee's decision to consume alcohol or operate a vehicle afterward.

TRANSPORTATION

Unless expressly stated otherwise, attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from events.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

You are responsible for your personal belongings.

SheWorks is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

EVENT CHANGES

Event details may change due to weather, venue requirements, attendance, safety considerations, vendor availability, emergencies, or circumstances outside SheWorks' reasonable control.

When practical, SheWorks will communicate material changes to registered attendees.

CONDUCT

Attendees are expected to respect other guests, hosts, venue employees, photographers, partners, and vendors.

SheWorks may require a participant to leave when reasonably necessary because of threatening, dangerous, severely disruptive, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate behavior.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING

SheWorks events may be photographed or recorded.

By attending an event after receiving notice that photography or recording will occur, you acknowledge that you may appear in event photography or video consistent with the SheWorks Photography, Video & Media Policy.

If you have a specific concern about being photographed, contact SheWorks before the event or notify the event host or photographer when you arrive. SheWorks will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee exclusion from every incidental background or crowd image.

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

If an attendee appears to require emergency assistance and is unable to act, SheWorks personnel may contact emergency services.

The attendee remains responsible for costs associated with medical care or emergency transportation.

RELEASE

To the fullest extent permitted by South Carolina law, you release SheWorks Social and its owners, employees, volunteers, and representatives from claims arising solely from the ordinary and inherent risks of voluntary participation in SheWorks activities.

This provision does not release any party from liability that cannot legally be released.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By registering for or attending a SheWorks event, you confirm that you have reviewed these terms, understand that participation is voluntary, and accept responsibility for the activities in which you choose to participate.

SHEWORKS PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & MEDIA POLICY

Photography is an intentional part of many SheWorks Social experiences.

We want women to be able to participate in real life while also creating authentic, useful content from the experience.

This policy explains how event media works.

EVENTS MAY BE PHOTOGRAPHED

SheWorks events may include professional photographers, videographers, content creators, or SheWorks team members capturing:

  • Event atmosphere

  • Group photographs

  • Lifestyle photographs

  • Candid moments

  • Individual portraits

  • Short-form video

  • B-roll

  • Social media content

Event listings may identify when professional content capture is planned.

SHEWORKS USE OF EVENT MEDIA

Subject to applicable law and event-specific terms, SheWorks may use event photographs or video in connection with:

  • SheWorks websites

  • Social media

  • Email marketing

  • Event promotion

  • Advertising

  • Community recaps

  • Press or public relations

  • Sponsor recaps

  • SheWorks promotional materials

SheWorks will not knowingly use an attendee's likeness to falsely state that the attendee personally endorses an unrelated product, political position, medical service, or other claim she has not made.

ATTENDEE ACCESS IS DIFFERENT FROM MEDIA CONSENT

Appearing in an event photograph does not automatically entitle an attendee to receive the photograph, full event gallery, raw files, video footage, or other professional content.

Professional content access is determined by the applicable SheWorks offering.

Depending on the event, content may be:

  • Included with Content Pass

  • Available for individual purchase

  • Provided as part of an event ticket

  • Provided selectively by SheWorks

  • Reserved for promotional use

  • Otherwise licensed according to event-specific terms

GENERAL EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

Attendees who do not have Content Pass may still appear in general event, group, background, and lifestyle photographs.

However, SheWorks does not guarantee delivery of individual portraits or the complete professional gallery to non-Content Pass attendees.

Where offered, individual images may be purchased separately.

CONTENT PASS

Eligible Content Pass members may receive enhanced access to professional photographs and/or video captured at qualifying SheWorks events they attend.

Content Pass benefits are governed by the separate Content Pass Terms.

COPYRIGHT

Copyright in professional photography and video generally remains with the photographer, videographer, SheWorks, or other identified rights holder.

Receiving or purchasing a digital file does not automatically transfer copyright.

Recipients receive only the usage rights stated in the applicable license.

RESPECTING OTHER ATTENDEES

SheWorks events are social environments.

Receiving a photograph containing another attendee does not grant permission to:

  • Sell that person's likeness

  • Imply that person endorses your business

  • Use her likeness in paid advertising without appropriate permission

  • License her likeness to another business

  • Use the image in a defamatory, deceptive, pornographic, unlawful, or materially misleading manner

Ordinary personal social sharing of event photographs is generally permitted unless otherwise stated.

PHOTO CONCERNS

An attendee who has a particular safety or privacy concern regarding photography should contact SheWorks before the event whenever possible.

You may also notify the photographer or host upon arrival.

SheWorks will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, but because events occur in shared social environments, we cannot guarantee that a person will never appear incidentally in the background of any image.

TAGGING AND CREDIT

We encourage attendees to tag SheWorks Social and participating creators when sharing event content.

Where photographer credit is requested as a condition of a particular license, that requirement will be communicated with the content.

SHEWORKS CONTENT PASS TERMS

Effective Date: September 2, 2026

Content Pass is an optional paid benefit offered inside the SheWorks Social community.

It is not a separate community and does not replace SheWorks membership.

By purchasing Content Pass, you agree to these Content Pass Terms in addition to the SheWorks Terms & Conditions.

WHAT CONTENT PASS IS

Content Pass is designed for SheWorks members who want ongoing access to professionally captured lifestyle and brand-friendly content created through qualifying real-life SheWorks experiences.

Content Pass may include access to eligible photographs and, depending on the plan purchased, video deliverables from qualifying SheWorks events attended by the member.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED

Content Pass benefits are intended for eligible SheWorks members.

Purchasing Content Pass does not guarantee admission to any particular SheWorks event.

Event registration, capacity limits, eligibility requirements, event costs, and RSVP procedures still apply.

QUALIFYING EVENTS

Not every SheWorks event is guaranteed to include professional photography or video.

An event qualifies for Content Pass deliverables only when SheWorks identifies professional content capture as part of that event or otherwise designates content as Content Pass eligible.

YOU MUST ATTEND

Content Pass provides access to eligible content associated with qualifying events the member actually attends.

Content Pass does not guarantee content from events the member does not attend.

DELIVERABLES

Deliverables vary based on the event, photographer, environment, attendance, and Content Pass plan.

SheWorks does not guarantee:

  • A specific number of photographs of each member

  • A particular pose

  • A specific background

  • A specific outfit being captured

  • A specific amount of screen time

  • That every photograph taken will be delivered

  • Raw or unedited files

  • That every event will produce the same amount of content

Photography is intentionally lifestyle-oriented rather than a private individual branding session.

CONTENT PASS VIDEO

If a member purchases a plan that includes video, deliverables may include selected B-roll, short-form clips, and/or finished social-media-ready content as described by the applicable plan.

Raw footage is not included unless expressly stated.

DELIVERY

Professional content requires editing and processing.

Delivery timelines are estimates unless SheWorks expressly guarantees a deadline for a specific event.

LICENSE

Unless otherwise stated, Content Pass grants the member a personal and business social-media usage license for eligible content delivered to that member.

This generally allows the member to use eligible content for:

  • Personal social media

  • Organic business social media

  • Personal websites

  • Business websites

  • Professional profiles

  • Email marketing

  • General personal branding

Copyright ownership is not transferred.

PAID ADVERTISING AND THIRD-PARTY LIKENESSES

Content containing identifiable third parties should not be used in paid advertising, product endorsements, or other commercial campaigns implying another attendee's endorsement without obtaining any permissions required for that use.

PROHIBITED USE

Content Pass members may not:

  • Sell individual photographs or video files

  • Resell gallery access

  • Share private gallery credentials

  • Provide full galleries to non-members

  • Claim copyright ownership

  • License files to stock photography platforms

  • Use another attendee's likeness to falsely imply endorsement

  • Use content in defamatory, deceptive, unlawful, pornographic, or materially misleading ways

  • Circumvent gallery access controls

  • Download or redistribute content they were not authorized to access

OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR CONTENT

SheWorks creates content in real social environments.

Other attendees may appear in photographs or video.

Your Content Pass license does not give you ownership or unrestricted commercial rights over another person's likeness.

BILLING

If Content Pass is sold as a recurring subscription, the price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and method of cancellation will be clearly disclosed before purchase.

By affirmatively enrolling in a recurring Content Pass, you authorize the disclosed recurring charges until cancellation.

CANCELLATION

A recurring Content Pass may be canceled using the cancellation method identified at enrollment or through available account-management features.

Cancellation stops future renewals according to the billing terms presented at purchase.

Unless otherwise stated or required by law, cancellation does not retroactively refund a billing period that has already begun.

NO GUARANTEED EVENT VALUE

Content Pass is an ongoing content-access offering.

The number, type, location, and schedule of SheWorks events may vary from month to month.

Purchasing Content Pass does not guarantee that a member will attend or obtain admission to enough events to achieve any particular monetary value.

Members should evaluate whether Content Pass makes sense for their own anticipated participation.

MISSED EVENTS

Missing an event does not generally create a credit, refund, rollover, or substitute private photo session.

NON-TRANSFERABLE

Content Pass is personal to the purchasing member and may not be transferred or shared.

TERMINATION FOR MISUSE

SheWorks may terminate Content Pass access for material misuse of galleries, unauthorized redistribution, fraud, nonpayment, or substantial violation of these Terms.

Where required by law, appropriate notice or remedies will be provided.

CHANGES TO CONTENT PASS

SheWorks may evolve Content Pass as the community grows.

Material changes to pricing or recurring billing will be communicated as required by applicable law.

Changes will not retroactively alter rights already granted for properly downloaded content.

CONTENT CREATOR RIGHTS

Photography and video may be created by independent professional creators, including SheWorks' photography/content partners.

Additional creator attribution or license restrictions may apply when expressly disclosed with particular content.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By purchasing Content Pass, you acknowledge that Content Pass provides access to eligible content opportunities and deliverables and is not a private photography retainer, guaranteed monthly photo shoot, or guarantee of event admission.

DIGITAL CONTENT PURCHASE LICENSE

Purchasing a photograph, video clip, reel, or other digital content from SheWorks provides a license to use the purchased content.

It does not transfer copyright ownership.

PERMITTED USE

Unless otherwise stated, purchased content may be used for:

  • Personal social media

  • Organic business social media

  • Personal or business websites

  • Professional profiles

  • Email marketing

  • Personal branding

YOU MAY NOT

  • Resell the digital file

  • Redistribute the file for others to download

  • Claim that you created or own the copyrighted work

  • Sell the file as stock photography

  • Create merchandise primarily featuring the image for resale without additional permission

  • Use another identifiable attendee's likeness to falsely imply endorsement

  • Use an image containing another attendee in paid advertising without obtaining any permissions required for that use

  • Use the content unlawfully or deceptively

OTHER ATTENDEES

A purchase licenses the copyrighted content to you.

It does not sell or transfer another attendee's publicity, privacy, trademark, or other personal rights.

DIGITAL PURCHASES

Because digital content can ordinarily be accessed or downloaded immediately after delivery, completed digital purchases are generally final and non-refundable except when:

  • The wrong file is delivered

  • The file is technically unusable due to a SheWorks delivery error

  • A refund is required by law

Contact SheWorks if there is a problem with a purchased file.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Different SheWorks products involve different costs and commitments. The following policies apply unless a specific event or product states otherwise.

FREE EVENTS

Free event registrations have no monetary refund value.

If you cannot attend, please cancel your RSVP as early as possible so another woman may attend.

Repeated no-shows may affect access to limited-capacity events.

PAID EVENTS

Unless an event listing states otherwise, paid event tickets are refundable when cancellation is received at least 72 hours before the scheduled event.

Within 72 hours, purchases are generally non-refundable because venue, food, vendor, activity, and other event expenses may already have been committed.

SheWorks may choose to allow a ticket transfer when practical.

Event-specific terms control when they differ from this general policy.

SHEWORKS CANCELLATION

If SheWorks cancels a paid event and does not provide a replacement date or equivalent credit accepted by the purchaser, the amount paid directly to SheWorks for that event will be refunded.

SheWorks is not responsible for unrelated travel, childcare, lodging, clothing, transportation, or other expenses incurred by an attendee.

WEATHER AND RESCHEDULING

Events affected by weather or circumstances outside SheWorks' reasonable control may be relocated, modified, postponed, or rescheduled.

A rescheduled event is not necessarily considered canceled.

VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS

Voluntary contributions supporting SheWorks are generally non-refundable.

Contributions are not charitable donations unless SheWorks expressly states that a particular payment is being collected by or for a qualified charitable organization.

CONTENT PASS

Content Pass subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the applicable billing period begins except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

Canceling stops future renewal according to the cancellation terms applicable to your subscription.

Missing an event does not create a Content Pass refund or credit.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO

Digital content purchases are generally final once content has been delivered or made available for download.

If SheWorks delivers the wrong file or a file is unusable because of a delivery error, contact us so we can correct the issue.

MERCHANDISE

Merchandise is subject to the separate Merchandise, Shipping & Returns Policy.

THIRD-PARTY PURCHASES

Products or services purchased directly from an independent event vendor, venue, sponsor, or partner are subject to that business's refund policy rather than this policy.

SHEWORKS MERCHANDISE, SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY

Many SheWorks merchandise products are created specifically after an order is placed.

PRINT-ON-DEMAND PRODUCTS

Certain SheWorks merchandise is fulfilled by third-party print-on-demand providers.

Because these items are produced after purchase, we generally cannot accept returns or exchanges solely because:

  • You changed your mind

  • You ordered the wrong size

  • You selected the wrong color

  • You no longer want the product

Please review product descriptions and sizing information carefully before ordering.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged, materially defective, misprinted, or materially different from the item ordered, contact SheWorks promptly and include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the problem

  • Clear photographs showing the issue

We will work with the fulfillment provider to determine an appropriate replacement or remedy.

SHIPPING

Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated.

SheWorks is not responsible for carrier delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

INCORRECT ADDRESSES

Customers are responsible for entering an accurate shipping address.

Additional shipping or replacement costs resulting from an incorrect customer-provided address may be the customer's responsibility.

LOST PACKAGES

If tracking shows a delivery problem, contact us so we can help investigate with the applicable fulfillment or shipping provider.

A tracking status showing delivery does not automatically establish eligibility for a refund.

COLORS AND PRODUCT APPEARANCE

Screen settings and manufacturing processes may cause slight variations in product colors, positioning, or appearance.

Minor variations that do not constitute a defect are not grounds for a defective-product claim.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Purchasing SheWorks merchandise does not transfer rights in the SheWorks name, logo, slogans, artwork, or other intellectual property displayed on the product.

Products may not be reproduced for resale without written permission.

SHEWORKS COMMUNITY CODE

SheWorks exists to make meeting people in real life easier.

The goal is simple: show up, meet women you might never have met otherwise, build actual relationships, and see where those connections go.

To protect that experience, we ask everyone to follow a few rules.

BE A PERSON BEFORE A PITCH

Networking happens here.

Aggressive prospecting doesn't need to.

Talk about what you do. Exchange cards. Follow up. Make connections.

But please don't treat every attendee like a lead list.

PROTECT THE SPOTLIGHT

If another business, sponsor, collaborator, host, or member is being intentionally featured, let her have her moment.

Do not use someone else's activation or event feature as an opportunity to aggressively redirect attention toward your own competing business.

There's room for everyone without taking someone else's spotlight.

RESPECT THE ROOM

Harassment, bullying, threats, discriminatory conduct prohibited by law, repeated unwanted solicitation, intimidation, or deliberately disruptive behavior are not welcome.

RESPECT PRIVATE INFORMATION

Meeting someone through SheWorks does not make her contact information yours to add to mass marketing lists without permission.

Do not scrape, export, collect, sell, or mass-distribute information from the member directory.

DON'T SPAM THE COMMUNITY

Relevant recommendations, questions, introductions, and opportunities are encouraged.

Repeated unsolicited promotions or unrelated advertising may be removed.

COLLABORATION IS NOT THE SAME AS SPONSORSHIP

A collaboration means we share our audiences and contribute to the experience together.

A partnership or sponsorship generally means a business is receiving intentional access, placement, exposure, or promotional value through the SheWorks audience.

Not every request to “collab” will be treated as a collaboration.

RESPECT PHOTOS AND CONTENT

Do not distribute private galleries, download content you did not purchase or receive access to, or commercially exploit another attendee's likeness.

HANDLE BUSINESS LIKE BUSINESS

A connection made through SheWorks does not make SheWorks responsible for a later transaction between members.

Do your own due diligence before hiring, purchasing from, partnering with, investing with, referring, or entering an agreement with someone you meet.

SHOW UP WHEN YOU SAY YOU WILL

Many SheWorks events intentionally stay small.

If you reserve one of ten seats and don't show, another woman may have lost the opportunity to attend.

Plans change. Just cancel as soon as you know.

Repeated no-shows may affect access to limited-capacity events.

BE SOMEONE PEOPLE WANT TO MEET AGAIN

That's really the rule.

SheWorks reserves the right to restrict participation when someone's conduct materially interferes with the safety, privacy, or experience of the community.

SHEWORKS CONNECTIONS & REFERRAL PROGRAM TERMS

Connections is the SheWorks Social loyalty and referral program.

Eligible members may earn Connections through qualifying activities identified by SheWorks.

CURRENT EARNING OPPORTUNITIES

Qualifying activities may include:

  • Joining SheWorks

  • Eligible event RSVPs or attendance

  • Merchandise purchases

NO OWNERSHIP INTEREST

Connections are promotional loyalty points.

They do not represent money, property, equity, investment interests, or ownership in SheWorks Social.

PARTNERS, SPONSORS & COLLABORATORS POLICY

SheWorks works with local businesses, creators, brands, sponsors, venues, and service providers to create more interesting real-life experiences for our community.

Their involvement can take different forms.

COLLABORATORS

A collaboration is generally a shared experience in which SheWorks and another person or business each contribute meaningful value and share in promoting or creating the experience.

SPONSORS AND PARTNERS

A sponsor or partner may provide financial support, products, services, experiences, or other consideration in exchange for agreed visibility or participation.

Sponsored relationships may be identified where appropriate.

BRAND PARTNERS

SheWorks may integrate products from brand partners into events, photography, gifts, experiences, or other content.

The presence of a product does not mean every attendee personally endorses that product.

INDEPENDENT BUSINESSES

Unless expressly stated otherwise, sponsors, partners, collaborators, venues, and vendors are independent businesses.

SheWorks does not own or control their operations.

NO GUARANTEE OR PROFESSIONAL ENDORSEMENT

Featuring a business through SheWorks does not constitute a guarantee of that business's products, services, credentials, advice, safety, results, or suitability for every member.

Members should make their own decisions before entering a transaction or receiving a service.

MEMBER INFORMATION

Sponsorship does not automatically entitle a sponsor to the SheWorks member list or private member information.

Any collection of information directly by a sponsor or vendor is subject to that business's own practices and applicable law.

MEMBER DIRECTORY & USER CONTENT POLICY

SheWorks provides community features intended to make it easier for women to discover and connect with one another.

MEMBER PROFILES

Information added to a member profile may be visible to other SheWorks members depending on the privacy and visibility settings available through the platform.

Only share information you are comfortable making available to the applicable community.

DIRECTORY USE

The member directory exists for genuine relationship building and networking.

Directory information may not be:

  • Scraped

  • Harvested

  • Sold

  • Exported for mass marketing

  • Added to bulk email lists without permission

  • Used for automated solicitation

  • Used to harass or repeatedly contact another member after she asks you to stop

Individual, genuine outreach is encouraged.

Mass prospecting is not.

CONTENT YOU POST

You retain ownership of original content you post.

By intentionally posting content within a SheWorks feature, you grant SheWorks the limited rights reasonably necessary to host, display, store, and operate that content through the applicable service.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTENT

Do not upload content that:

  • You do not have permission to share

  • Violates another person's privacy

  • Infringes copyright or trademark rights

  • Is fraudulent or intentionally deceptive

  • Contains unlawful threats or harassment

  • Contains malicious software

REMOVAL

SheWorks may remove content that violates these rules or materially interferes with operation of the community.

SHEWORKS BRAND & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY

SheWorks Social is building more than an event calendar.

Our name, identity, concepts, creative materials, merchandise, and original content are important business assets.

Use of ™ does not represent that a mark has necessarily been federally registered.

Registration status may change over time.

PERSONAL SHARING

We love when members share SheWorks.

Members may generally repost publicly released SheWorks social content using normal platform sharing features, tag SheWorks, and talk about their experiences.

COMMERCIAL USE

You may not use SheWorks branding to:

  • Create unauthorized merchandise

  • Operate an event that falsely appears to be an official SheWorks event

  • Create a confusingly similar community or offering

  • Suggest a formal partnership that does not exist

  • Sell SheWorks graphics or designs

  • Register confusingly similar branding in bad faith

  • Use SheWorks intellectual property in advertising implying an endorsement that has not been authorized

PHOTOGRAPHER RIGHTS

Professional event photography may be owned by the applicable photographer or other rights holder rather than SheWorks.
